Minh Tuan started running in 2016 and is famous in the Danang running community for his hobby of running ultra. His main job is currently a machine maintenance worker at Da Nang Rubber Company, and he often runs about 17km from work at Hai Van Pass to home.
In 2021, he started running 100km at Danang Ultra Road and confused the online community when the tracklog of 8 hours and 58 minutes for the distance was spread on running forums. Many newbies at that time also expressed doubts and discussed this achievement of the Danang runner. In 2022, Tuan "child" continues to run 100km at Danang Ultra Road with the goal of 8 hours and 30 minutes to raise funds for Operations Smile - an organization that helps children find their smiles again - and finished with a time of 8 hours and 24 minutes. .
Last night, January 7, Tuan "con" started a distance of 100km with the goal of sub8 (completed in less than 8 hours). Although not achieving the desired result, 8 hours 10 minutes 16 seconds, according to Minh Tuan, is still a good result. He completed the run through the night until morning in cold and windy weather on the 1.1km riverside loop in Son Tra district.
"Last year, the event took place in quite hot weather, and this year, the weather is cooler and more pleasant. But the route is a bit short, only 1.1 kilometers, has to turn corners 4 times, not convenient to maintain. Moreover, the wind blows strongly, so the speed is also partially affected," Tuan "con" told MetaSports about not reaching the sub8 goal.
Minh Tuan has a predestined relationship with podium in trail running tournaments. He is the champion of the 70km Vietnam Jungle Marathon in Pu Luong, Thanh Hoa in 2018 and the first prize of 70km at Cuc Phuong Jungle Paths 2022 and the age group of some road races under the MetaSports Marathon running system.
Danang Ultra Road is an annual internal long-distance running event of the local running club - Danang Runners - ANTA, born in 2021 with distances of 50km, 70km and 100km. This year, for the third time, the club's board of directors added a 25km distance to the program for runners who have not had much experience in training for long runs.

After being organized three times, the event took place in a vibrant and eager atmosphere of runners.
