Qinghua was short of people in the first half. Saigon lost 4-0 to Qinghua in the 7th round on July 16, and was at the bottom of V League in 2022.

Saigon Football Club travels to Qinghua in hopes of winning the opening V League victory in 2022. However, they were poured cold water from the 22nd minute, when Guolong let Guofang cross easily on the left, and then stretched Enrique to set the ball near the goal to pull the score apart.

Eight minutes later, the visitors lost men and difficulties piled up. Vieira had to get a red card directly because he hit Victor Kamhuka in the abdomen in Qinghua restricted area.

Saigon Football Club didn't concede another goal in the first half. But in the second half, due to lack of manpower, Qinghua attacked fiercely and they collapsed. Saigon Football Club scored three more goals, two shots from Pinto in the 52nd and 68th minutes, and Dinh Tung's close cushion when goalkeeper Van Phong caught the ball in the 56th minute.

Thanh Hoa can win even more if the shot is sharp. In this game, they shot at each other's goal 18 times.

The 0-4 score gave Saigon FC its worst defeat since the V League started in 2022. Before that, the "record" belonged to Da Nang, when they lost the game 0-3, also in Qinghua Stadium in the fourth round.

Saigon FC are still without a win in six games-three defeats and three draws. The only other team in V-League 2022 that doesn't know how to win is Nam Dinh. The North ranked second from bottom with the same three points and surpassed the goal difference (-3 vs.-8). However, Nandin played one more game than Saigon Football Club.

Meanwhile, Qinghua picked up its opening victory in the V League in 2022 thanks to beating Saigon Football Club. Head coach Petrovich's army rose to 11th place with five points. In the next round, Qinghua will rest, while Saigon FC will go to Hang Day Stadium as a guest of Hanoi FC on April 20th.
