Sancho may be disciplined after Ten Hag rebuttal

Man Utd defended coach Erik ten Hag, should prepare to give a penalty to midfielder Jadon Sancho after a disagreement between the two teachers and students.

According to the Guardian (UK), the leader of Man Utd does not feel the need to comment further on the Dutch coach's statement. In the defeat to Arsenal on September 3, Ten Hag said that Sancho was not registered to play because "the performance on the training ground was not satisfactory".

A few hours later, Sancho posted a message on social media saying he "does not allow people to say things that are completely untrue". "I've been training really well this past week," he added. "There are other reasons that I don't want to talk about. I was considered a black sheep for a long time and this was unfair."

Sancho is expected to be internally disciplined after this incident.

Last season, Sancho did not play any matches and had to practice separately for three months in the middle of the tournament, even though he was not injured. Ten Hag explained that the English midfielder's problem at that time was "both physically and psychologically". But this time, the 53-year-old coach no longer defends his students that way.

Sancho left Dortmund to join Man Utd in the summer of 2021 for a fee of 92 million USD, but he did not meet expectations. The 23-year-old striker has only scored 12 goals in 82 matches for Man Utd, and often has to sit on the bench under Ten Hag.

Witnessing Man Utd's internal disagreement, MC Piers Morgan wrote on Twitter: "Hey Sancho, join my program, and I will help you escape the nightmare of Ten Hag."

Morgan once welcomed a Man Utd player for an interview, Cristiano Ronaldo in November 2022, after disagreements between the Portuguese superstar and Ten Hag. In a conversation of more than an hour, Ronaldo said that he had been betrayed, considered a black sheep and not respected at Man Utd.

In his Man Utd launch interview in July 2021, Sancho also said that Ronaldo is his career role model, and his playing style is based on this idol. Also that summer, Ronaldo returned to play for Man Utd, before leaving in December 2022.
