Update the schedule and results of basketball - The 9th National Sports Congress - 2022 takes place in Quang Ninh.

The basketball department of the Ninth National Sports Congress - 2022 will take place from November 28 to December 8 at the Gymnasium of the Quang Ninh Provincial Sports School.

In particular, the 5x5 basketball content will take place from November 28 to December 3, while the 3x3 content is scheduled to compete from December 6 to December 8.

Men's 5x5 content has the participation of 6 teams including: Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Soc Trang, Military, Binh Thuan, Da Nang.

The women's 5x5 content has 5 participating teams including: Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Quang Ninh, Can Tho, and Binh Thuan.

The Ho Chi Minh City men's and women's teams are currently the defending champions of the 5x5 basketball content.

The detailed schedule of the 5x5 content is as follows:

Matches will take place daily with a frequency of 3-4 matches per day, continuously playing from November 28 to the end of December 3. The 5x5 basketball content awards ceremony will take place right after the final match, scheduled at 10 pm on December 3.

Competition format: Since the number of teams in both men's and women's events is less than 7 participating teams, the teams will compete in a round robin, scoring and ranking according to the current FIBA basketball rules. After the round-robin, the teams will have their respective rankings.
