According to former midfielder Paul Scholes, Man Utd still has a chance to win four titles this season, after eliminating Barca from the Europa League on the evening of February 23.

Among the teams in the top five European leagues, only Man Utd has the opportunity to "eat four" this season. "Man Utd can do it," Scholes told BT Sport. "This task is difficult, but maybe it can happen. The remaining matches of the team are all big matches. Unlike everyone else, I still think Man Utd has a chance to win the Premier League."

A 2-1 victory over Barca on the evening of February 23 helped host Man Utd enter the 1/8 round of the Europa League. In the next match, they meet Newcastle in the English League Cup final at Wembley on Sunday, February 26. Three days later, the "Red Devils" played the fifth round of the FA Cup with West Ham, then went to Anfield to play Liverpool in the English Premier League. Erik ten Hag's men are five points behind the top of Arsenal's table and have played more than one game.

"Man Utd have played two games against Arsenal and Man City in the Premier League this season, so they have a big chance to win the title," added Scholes. "With the current promotion momentum, Man Utd is just afraid of overloading in matches."

Former midfielder Owen Hargreaves also agreed with Scholes, adding that "the golden age has returned to Man Utd". "The current team energy has changed," Hargreaves said. "Players and fans both feel this. The victory against Barca brings many positive things for the whole team."

Hargreaves and former striker Robin van Persie both appreciate Man Utd's new recruits, especially midfielder Lisandro Martinez and midfielder Casemiro. "Such players have helped Man Utd through difficult times," said the Dutch player. "Being in the lead but winning back is a sign of a great team. Man Utd is in good form, physically, mentally and technically."

The draw for the eighth round of the Europa League takes place at 19:00 tonight, February 24, Hanoi time. Man Utd will not touch Arsenal because the two teams are in the same league. Seven potential opponents of "Red Devils" are Union Saint-Gilloise (Belgium), Freiburg (Germany), Ferencvaros (Hungary), Feyenoord (Netherlands), Real Betis, Real Sociedad (Spain) and Fenerbahce (Turkey) Ky).

Van Persie is a former Feyenoord player and also leads the Dutch youth team. He joked with Ten Hag that "Man Utd will want to avoid touching Feyenoord". And the 53-year-old coach replied: "If the two teams meet, I will ask for information from Van Persie."
