SLNA U15 player apologizes after being beaten by coach

About being beaten by coach Quang Truong, Anh Duc, after thinking carefully, said that he did it out of love and wanted good for the students. The two teachers and students apologized to each other right after the match. "I apologized to the teacher for my impulsive action, and then he also apologized to me for being impatient," the 14-year-old defender said. "Teacher Truong told us to put aside the old story and focus on the competition."
When he was brought back by an assistant, coach Quang Truong took the initiative to shake hands and apologize to Team Leader Nguyen Hai Bien and Viettel's training team. He still kept Ngo Anh Duc to finish the match, even placing this player in the main match SLNA lost 0-5 PVF in the 2023 national U15 final on the afternoon of August 23.
Coach Quang Truong and Anh Duc have only been together since June 2023, but together they passed 16 qualifying matches to the final round to be the runner-up. Previously, Anh Duc was on the staff of the SLNA team to win the national U11 championship in 2020 with coach Phan Tien Hoai, and was crowned the national U13 in 2022 with coach Dang Van Tuong.
Besides coach Quang Truong, Anh Duc also received a lot of advice from relatives after the game, including his parents and cousin Pham Xuan Manh - SLNA first team player and national team player. Coach Quang Truong was born in 1972, is a famous former midfielder of Nghe An football and the Vietnamese team from 1993 to 2003. After that, he stayed at the club to train youth. The 51-year-old leader has two periods as the head coach of the SLNA first team, 2014-2016 and 2020-2021, alternating between being the technical director of Hai Phong Club in 2018 and 2019.
According to the representative of SLNA, coach Quang Truong's coaching philosophy is to develop professionally and train the personality of young players, before becoming a good player, one must be ethical.
