Sterling leaves the World Cup because of burglary in the house
The burglary happened on the evening of December 3, at a house about 15 minutes by car from Chelsea's training ground. The stolen property were watches with a total value of about $370,000.
After hearing the news, Sterling left Qatar, where he was attending the 2022 World Cup, to return to England. The English Football Federation announced the incident 90 minutes before the Senegal match in the 1/8 round yesterday.
