Teams running tens of thousands of kilometers on V-Race

V-Race is an online sports platform with two main sports, running and cycling, attracting more than 76,000 participants. Most of these belong to clubs and groups running from a few dozen to thousands of runners. After more than 2 years of continuously participating in virtual tournaments on V-Race, each group has built up a respectable list of achievements.

For running enthusiasts, the name R4S (Running Community) has become familiar. This is a running community associated with the message "Run for self - Run for yourself, live fully". R4S's group on the social network facebook has nearly 100,000 members, both at home and abroad.

In 2020, the group has just over 11,000 members. After two years, the running movement in Vietnam flourished, many tournaments were organized, the number of members of this community also increased rapidly. This is a place where runners from all over the world share experiences, inspire and motivate each other to practice.

On the V-Race platform, with an outstanding number of members - 1223 runners, R4S leads the rankings for a long time. This running community accumulated 55,265km, nearly 20,000km ahead of the second team.

Viet Hoa Nong - the running group built from colleagues in the same company is ranked second with 38,115km. There are only 258 members, the number is less than the top 3, top 4 but this is the name that has always been in the leading group, with good achievements, since 2020.

About 60% of employees of Viet Hoa Nong Company are joggers, averaging over 60 km per week. This is a group that ran into the movement prizes pretty early, from seven years ago. Initially, they were not followers of this sport, but because of curiosity and collective spirit, many members put on their shoes to run and became runners. Gradually, they increased the distance to 21.42 km and looked to V-Race's virtual tournaments for more motivation to run every day.

84Race is an online platform that provides access to and participation in sports related challenges. Up to now, on V-Race, this group has 634 members, has accumulated more than 30,000 km, ranked third on the chart.

This is also a unit that regularly organizes running activities for the community such as: Running for Vietnamese elephants, a fundraising race called "For a belief in happiness".

adidas Runners Saigon (AR Saigon) was established in 2018, operating in the Ho Chi Minh City area. After four years, this community has an online group with over 18,500 members, from all over the country. Currently, in Ho Chi Minh City, the group has three training locations, each with more than 70 runners, each week more than 300 people participate in offline activities.

This is a running community with many prominent names, often standing on the podium at movement running events such as Le Quang Hoa, Xuan Diu, Dau Ngoc, Luu Chi Hung... On V-Race, they are also the Featured names regularly appear in the top 10 on the chart. Currently 216 members of AR Saigon are in 4th place with 29,261 km completed, closely following the group in third place.

Contributing to the top 5 has one more name representing the south - PVCFC Runners. This is the running group of Ca Mau Petroleum Fertilizer Joint Stock Company. On V-Race they have 301 members, have run 26,661 km. In addition to practicing and accumulating on the V-Race platform, the group's runners also participate in many domestic movement tournaments, organize internal running activities, and encourage members' morale.

This December, the V-Race platform hosted the free virtual running campaign The Bull Run, jointly organized by MetaSports Newspaper and Aura Network.
