Trinh Ngoc Truong - Vice President of THR said that the whole team had planned to play from VM Hanoi 2022 but was slow in making the squad, so it was missed. This year's season, the team actively planned early, receiving more than 50 applications from members. The management board also called the original Thanh Hoa runners who are competing in many localities to complete the lineup right after the tournament opened the registration portal.

"The quality of personnel is quite good with two FM sub3 members, 6 others are close to sub3. Others are also trying to achieve sub3:15 or HM sub1:45. We evaluate the current personnel to be enough to help the group. compete for the top, try to squeeze into the top 10, "said Truong.

In the past period of time, we have carried out a lot of talent transfer. Truong Viet Thanh and DamDanh Tung - two runners from Thanh Hoa participated in the team project last season. Dong Jianhua is a member of the champion team of BDRC Alliance and T-Coaching. He ran 3 hours and 14 minutes last season. At the same time, Thanh was one of the key members of the Ha Tinh runner team, winning the third place. The runner nicknamed "Barefoot" won many domestic marathon races and was praised for his professional knowledge. "99% of the people are from the Qing Dynasty. We attach importance to the color of the national flag, so that everyone has the motivation to contribute to the motherland. This is also how we build a non-mixed team," said the vice president of the club.

Duong Quang, Vu Thi Lan Huong, Nguyen Minh Thuy are other prominent names in the 25-member squad. All three are familiar faces, often standing at the age group podium at the MetaSports Marathon. Vu Thi Lan Huong is also known as the female champion, the 70km distance of the Vietnam Trail Marathon 2023.

Gathering a promising lineup, THR still thinks that achieving a high ranking is not easy. This year's tournament is expected to attract about 50 competing groups, most of which are experienced and invested in selecting people. Fierce competition forecast. "Smooth preparation will fail. The strategy THR mentioned is to use national players to train the members. Ha Van Nhat and Le Van Thao are players who contribute to the team's training process. These two names have been attached to the Thanh marathon since the early days of its establishment. They take on the task of advising on exercise regimens, nutrition as well as giving advice for each member's own purposes. The team also plans to use this lineup for testing at many tournaments throughout the year.

Having been with THR for 5 years, national track and field player Ha Van Nhat understands each member of the group well, so planning is quite easy. He thinks that the group has many outstanding and experienced individuals, so it is only necessary to strengthen each person's forte and develop a more scientific lesson plan. "I like the training atmosphere. The whole team is focused and determined. The long preparation process makes the team more confident and cohesive. First time participating, so the achievement factor is not a top priority. The group wants the members to have time to rub, get used to the style of team competition and make an impression of the "Thanh people" for the community. The team emphasizes on creating identity, showing energy and professionalism. "MetaSports Marathon Hanoi Midnight is a launching pad for us to communicate, promote and build a better running movement. Year by year, the expected achievement will increase," the club representative shared.

Thanh Hoa Runners will compete with about 50 clubs at the tournament at the end of the year. This is the second time that the team event has been held and is a "colorful" playground for runners across the country. The content requires a 25-member squad, of which 20 will compete in the main competition, and 5 will be substitutes. Achievements are calculated based on total time. Last year, the BDRC and T-Coaching alliance won the championship with a total time of 47 hours and 4 minutes, ranked second by Ultrain.
