Masters, PGA Championship, US Open and The Open are still open to LIV Golf League members if they meet the set of criteria to enter.

In the list of accepting players in 2023, the four organizations hosting the prestigious event group all continue to grant special tickets to the main round for former champions or golfers with previous high achievements.

Accordingly, this year's major quartet is expected to record at least 10 LIV Golf League members, including Bryson DeChambeau, Sergio Garcia, Dustin Johnson, Brooks Koepka, Phil Mickelson, Louis Oosthuizen, Henrik Stenson, Patrick Reed, Cameron Smith, Bubba Watson. This group, when they joined the LIV Golf League from the PGA Tour, had a reputation of "defection" and were banned from returning to the US first-class golf arena.

According to the 2023 major schedule, the Masters takes place in April, hosted by Augusta National and exclusively hosted, and the PGA Championship of the American Professional Golf Association (PGAA) in May. After that, the American Golf Association (USGA) ) will hold the US Open in June and then Royal & Ancient (R&A) will launch The Open in July.

LIV Golf League is operated by LIV Golf, mainly with money from the Saudi Public Investment Fund with an estimate of two billion USD for the opening year 2022 and 2023. This arena gradually attracts PGA Tour members, so far more than 35 golfers and Most have won multiple titles or owned at least one major. That wave of "migration" is the key for LIV Golf and PGA Tour to sue each other in US courts with suspicions of unfair competition since August last year.

In that context of tension, the right to attend majors this year has become a worry for players managed by LIV Golf before the possibility of "collusion to destroy" initiated by the PGA Tour, with support from allies. DP World Tour and four major hosts. However, they relieved that tension through the announcement of the criteria set from the PGAA for the PGA Championship 2023, issued on February 22. R&A announced a similar decision one day before PGAA, nearly two weeks after USGA, and Augusta National on December 20, 2022.

"Our decisions are always based on the best interests of the tournament as well as the organization," the latest document regulating the entrance to the PGA Championship, quoted CEO Seth Waugh of the governing organization. "The current division on the professional level is not good for the future of golf. We hope that the parties will soon find an amicable resolution."
