The 77-year-old runner ran the 37th London Marathon
Female 77 was inspired to jog when watching London Marathon the second time, with her way through where she lived in Greenwich, East South London, five 82.
"I don't know anything about the first London Marathon, I'll just watch the second term," you tell Independent. "I saw a Frenchman running and carrying a tray, a bottle of wine and a drink and I thought,"How could he do that?"
Little liked campaigning and started trying, and she was thrilled when she first started running London Marathon five-1983 and went back to the target with sub5-5.
Little said, "I'm running with you, we're blending in the crowd, having a good time running, going to the pub to go to the bathroom because there's no mobile toilets, and I've been crying through the end of Westminster."
Theo Little, she was just going to run once, but she liked it and moved on.
Little competed in a total of 37 London Marathons, setting a personal record of 3 hours and 26 minutes in 1993. Now, she usually completes the distance in 4 hours and 30 minutes to 4 hours and 40 minutes. In 2021, the organizers awarded the London Marathon Spirit Award to Little and five other runners. The award was awarded for the first time in 2018 in recognition of runners who showed the "unique" spirit of the competition.
"I have been running in the London Marathon. In the future, if I don't run, I will relay at the drinking water station," Little said after finishing the 2021 London Marathon in 4 hours, 52 minutes and 51 seconds.
Little has also participated in more than 30 Berlin marathons, but will withdraw from the September 25 race in Germany because the schedule is too close to the London Marathon on October 2. His runs are usually held in the spring, around April, but due to COVID-19 having to be postponed until October, it is expected to resume from 2023 to the old organization time.
"Last year, I ran the Berlin Marathon last week, and then the London Marathon took place next week. The same is true this year. I also ran the Chicago Marathon next week. The Chicago Marathon is always held in October and is the sixth Grand Prix. So, of course I want to run."
Runners who complete all six events of the World Marathon system-including Tokyo (Japan), Boston, Chicago and New York (USA), London (UK) and Berlin (Germany)-will receive special medals from the organizing committee.
Little has two children and five grandchildren. Her first husband died in 2000, and running helped her overcome the pain. She is a member of the 100 Marathon Club under the British Athletics Federation (UKA). Marathon and hyper-marathon took her to 46 countries and 22 islands. "No one is familiar with the competition, I will definitely not participate in it, which is really great."
Her advice to those running the first London Marathon on October 2 is "don't add too much distance too quickly and remember to rest between long runs".
"Take part in some half marathon or other distance races and learn what it feels like to run with others. Running in a race is completely different from running alone," Little suggested.
According to Little, at the end of the game, when you feel tired, the voice of the crowd will help you be more motivated, but added that "I won't write my name on BIB because everyone is calling your name at that time, and you are not sure about yourself. Do you know them or not".
"If someone calls my name, I know it's my acquaintance," she said. "Enjoy, don't think about time, think about jogging, immersed in the atmosphere in the tournament - a wonderful atmosphere." Little also said that if Runner feels need to walk, just walk, that doesn't mean failing because Runner is still moving forward.
Little is now five 58's conquer 42195 and intend to hit the third model at Richmond Marathon 9/9 at the same Plumstead Runners. At that time, all the members will be wearing special T-shirt. "When they hit the 500 times the marathon, I think that's gonna stop." Little.
However, due to a leg injury, Little had to postpone his 599th marathon on July 3 at the Heffer Castle Endurance Festival in Kent, London. She hopes to find another marathon to conquer before 9/11-the day she wants to hit the 600 mark.
Little modest in achievement achieved. She said: "I run not fast. People often sprung up all the way. I just want to run comfortably."
For you, height 1, five feet and small body is an advantage, to avoid trauma. When asked if you had trouble on the marathon, Little answers, "I always found a way to get through."
