The latest schedule of the Southeast Asian professional basketball tournament - ABL 2023 of Saigon Heat today
Right after the moment of transition from the old year to the new year, Vietnamese basketball will immediately kick off with the presence of Saigon Heat at ABL - Southeast Asia Professional Basketball Tournament.
Unlike the 10 seasons held in the past, the 11th season called "ABL Invitational 2023" will take place in the form of concentrated competition. But instead of taking place in the same place, ABL 2023 is divided into 5 stages, taking place from now to early March in 5 different cities in the region.
The first four stages will be the qualifying round (Regular Season), held in Singapore, Batam (Indonesia), Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia) and Ho Chi Minh City (Vietnam). Stage 5 is a knockout round that has not yet finalized the venue.
Saigon Heat representing Vietnam will be one of eight teams participating in ABL 2023. The remaining seven teams include the Cooly Bangkok Tigers, Hong Kong Eastern, Louvre Indonesia, Macau Black Bears, NS Matrix, Singapore Slingers and Zamboanga Valientes.

- Stage 1 will take place in Singapore from January 2 to August 8. Venue: OCBC Arena
- Stage 2 will be held in Batam, Indonesia from January 12 to January 18. Venue: Hi-Test Arena
*The tournament will then be suspended for 2 weeks for the teams to take a break for the Lunar New Year.
- Stage 3 will be held on 3-8/2/2023 in Kuala Lumpur. Estimated venue: MABA Stadium
- Stage 4 will compete in Vietnam, taking place from February 12-17, 2023. Expected location: Nguyen Du Gymnasium.
