The 23 -year -old American Armand Duplantis (Sweden) became the first person to jump over a high pole of 6.21m, when winning gold medals in the world athletes on 24/7.

Duplantis raised his record by 1cm, compared to the 6.20 meter achievement that he set up in the world real estate tournament in Belgrade, Serbia in March 2022. This is the fifth time the Swedish athletes broke the world record, but the first time in the outdoor yard. The last time a world dance record was broken outdoors in July 1994, by the legendary Sergey Bubka with 6.14m.

According to Gazzetta, technology shows that Duplantis dances 8 cm higher than the 6.21 meter, he dances up to 6.29m high at that exam.

After the victory, he kept running and jumping around the stands, even turning around without his hand. The audience also wrote the efforts of the 23 -year -old athlete. After that, he took the Swedish flag and took photos to celebrate the victory.

Duplantis's victory was even more impressive when the two won silver and the same dance only 5.94m, Christopher Nilsen (USA) and Ernest John Obiena (Philippines). Obiena set the Asian record and brought back the first medal for the Philippines in a world athletics.

This is the second world record to be broken in Oregon, on the last exam day at the tournament. The first record was also by a 23 -year -old athlete, which was Sydney McLaughlin in the content of 400m female fence.

Duplantis was born on November 10, 1999 in Louisiana, USA, in a family with a sports tradition. His father was American, with a record of personal dance of 5.80m. And his mother Sweden, former former athlete of combination and volleyball. Duplantis is the defending champion of Olympic and the world. In 2020, he was chosen to be a typical Athletics Athlete in the world.
