Al Hilal on July 24 sent a new offer, with a world record price - 330 million USD - to convince PSG to sell Kylian Mbappe.

A day earlier, the Saudi Arabian club was sent the first offer worth 220 million. Al Hilal hopes today's updated numbers can pave the way for them to negotiate with PSG. But the French team has not yet responded to Al Hilal, because they think there will be other clubs making offers for Mbappe.

If the deal is successful, Mbappe will become the most expensive contract in the history of world football, breaking the record of $ 264 million that PSG spent to recruit Neymar from Barca in 2017.

Al-Hilal has not yet contacted Mbappe to negotiate personal terms. The Saudi club believes that the French striker wants to continue playing in Europe, so he hopes PSG can influence and make Mbappe change his mind.

On July 24, Sky Sports reporter Kaveh Solhekol reported that at least five clubs had contacted PSG to ask to buy Mbappe, after the French club offered to sell their main striker. Among these is the club from the English Premier League. Some teams ask to borrow a season, not buy them outright, other teams offer to pay cash with additional players.

Real plays an important role in Mbappe's future. PSG believes that the 24-year-old star has tacitly agreed to move to the Bernabeu team next summer on a free transfer, thereby receiving a huge fee. Therefore, after a friendly match against La Havre 2-0 on July 21, PSG removed Mbappe's name from the list of going to Japan for a summer tour, and put him on the transfer floor.

After being removed from the summer tour list, Mbappe is said to have responded by declaring his willingness to sit on the bench and not play for PSG for the whole 2023-2024 season, until the contract expires in June 2024. This source emphasized that France's participation in Euro 2024 did not change the mind of the 24-year-old striker.

PSG have set a deadline to sign a new contract for Mbappe on July 31. After this date, they can accept Al-Hilal's offer. But in that case, the Saudi club still needs the consent of Mbappe - who is said to be determined to join Real after two missed transfers.
