Aquathlon includes swimming and running. Therefore, athletes will have to prepare more equipment than if they only play one sport. To make the race go smoothly from the beginning, players should write a list of required equipment and check it the day before the event to make sure they don't forget anything when entering the race.

One of the most important pieces of equipment is swimming goggles. Participants should bring two pairs of glasses, one pair with transparent lenses, for use in low light situations early in the morning or on cloudy race days. Darker lenses are for bright spaces or sunny weather to reduce glare while swimming.

In addition, athletes need to bring a Bib belt or pin, running shoes, towel, trisuit or swimsuit, water and gel, and salt to recharge. Swimming caps are also indispensable. Aquaman Vietnam requires athletes to use BTC helmets when competing. Hats are divided by color to distinguish each distance.

DNSE Aquaman Vietnam has four distances, taking place on the same racetrack. Swimming paths, transition areas, and movement paths for different distances are different. The transition area of ​​the relay competition format is arranged separately. Here, athletes give time chips to teammates. Participants must remember the turning points, the number of swimming or running laps for each distance and the exit and entry points.

At the Aquaman Vietnam tournament, athletes are only allowed to change clothes in the area arranged by the organizers. For those new to triathlon, running after swimming is a big challenge, requiring physical, mental and thoughtful preparation. Prepare a towel to dry your body and feet before wearing running shoes, ensuring your feet feel the most comfortable.

To avoid confusion, carefully read the map and signage located at the competition area. Before starting, if there is time, athletes should do a field test to familiarize themselves with the terrain and check the depth of the starting point to avoid being overwhelmed during competition.

According to Triathlon Queensland, the most effective way to race endurance events like aquathlon is to maintain a steady pace from start to finish, not starting too fast or exerting too much effort. During the race, make sure your body is well hydrated. At Aquaman Vietnam, organizers arrange water stations on the track. Athletes can use it to drink or rinse to cool down the body.

According to long-time athletes, aquathlon is a reasonable choice to start the journey of playing triathlons. DNSE Aquaman Vietnam 2023 - the only biathlon tournament in Vietnam will kick off on October 29 at NovaWorld Phan Thiet. In the second season, the tournament gathered many professional athletes and movements with impressive achievements. Many people aim to break the achievement of last year's tournament in Tra Co (Quang Ninh). Below are tips to help athletes shorten their time when competing in swimming and running duathlons.

The tournament includes three distances: Aquaman (swim 2km, run 21km), Half Aqua (swim 1km, run 10km) and Sprint Aqua (swim 500m, run 5km). The official swimming and running track is located within the campus of NovaWorld Phan Thiet resort and entertainment urban area. The tournament is currently open for registration at all distances.
