Three reasons families should participate in the Happy Run

Happy Run is a fun run race organized by FPT Corporation and MetaSports with two short distances of 1.35km and 3.5km. The award is open to everyone from movement runners, tourists, sports lovers to multi-generational families. The event will create a vibrant sports atmosphere in Da Nang City with the participation of thousands of runners of all ages.

With a fee of 100,000 VND and 100% revenue for charity activities of Hope Foundation, athletes are awarded Bib, shirt, medal when finishing and have the opportunity to win prizes for winners and lucky ones.

Besides, there are three reasons that make FPT - Happy Run an event that is hard to miss for movement lovers.

The event does not promote professional achievements but aims to create a space for the whole family to participate in sports activities, strengthening solidarity and attachment. With two moderate distances, the tournament is suitable for multi-generational families to participate. Children and the elderly do not need to practice too much to complete the track. Moderate running also helps runners experience more, form love, and stick with sports training for a long time.

Running with parents and children is a way for members to become understanding, loving and attached. When completing the challenge together, the members will receive a medal to record a good memory together. To increase the connection between participants and encourage sports practice, the award will award many categories to families holding hands to the finish line, impressive costumes on the track.

The Happy Run is expected to start at Nguyen Van Troi Park, along the Han River. Two distances will take runners to admire the poetic beauty of the river flowing in the heart of the city. The Han River is famous for its serenity, like a soft silk strip crossing the city. Both sides of the river are skyscrapers, green parks and bustling residential areas. In the morning, the river is peaceful, in the evening, it brings brilliant beauty.

The highlight on the Han River is the bridges. Runner of the tournament is expected to run across Tran Thi Ly Bridge - one of the outstanding architectural works in Da Nang. The bridge has a three-stayed design, the main pillar is 145 meters high, and inclined 12 degrees. The overall bridge is like a sail stretching the wind. At night, the bridge has an artistic lighting system, creating a highlight of the landscape on the river. In addition, runners can also admire the beauty of Dragon Bridge - the symbol of Da Nang, located in the North of Tran Thi Ly Bridge.

Not only running, exercising, participating in the Happy Run is a way for runners to show interest in the community. The entry fee is 100,000 VND. For each Bib, FPT Corporation will donate one million VND to the HOPE Fund - towards the goal of helping disadvantaged students in remote areas.

HOPE Fund is operated by FPT Corporation and MetaSports Newspaper with the goal of supporting disadvantaged groups and creating development motivation for society. Over the years, the fund has carried out many health and education projects to support children with cancer, fatal diseases and orphans due to Covid; building infrastructure such as roads, bridges, schools, toilets for difficult areas, ... Da Nang - where the tournament is held, is where the School of Hope is located. This is a special school, raising hundreds of children who lost their parents because of the Covid-19 epidemic.
