Van Toan kicked 25 minutes the day Seoul E-Land got the first point
Compared to the opening match losing to Cheongju FC 2-3, coach Park Choong-kyun replaced five positions in the starting lineup of Seoul E-Land FC, including Van Toan. The team took advantage of striker Ronan's height and the speed of Kim Jun-hwan and Lee Dong-ryul to play on the flanks.
In the 16th minute, Seoul E-Land had the first big chance, but Ronan headed off the post. After that, Anyang defended more firmly, causing Seoul E-Land to come to a standstill. Not only that, the home team also opened the scoring in the 28th minute. Jonathan Moya got on well with Andrigo, then passed to Jo Seong-joon to decisively score a goal.
Soon after, Seoul E-Land immediately got up and leveled 1-1 in the 36th minute. Bruno Oliveira's beautiful left-footed free kick caused goalkeeper Park Seong-soo to fly all the way and could not stop it. In the second half, the visitors once again put the ball into the net in the 49th minute but it was not recognized for offside.
In the 65th minute, Coach Park Choong-kyun decided to replace Kim Jung-hwan to bring Van Toan into the field. However, the tight play of the two teams made the attackers unable to make an impression, Van Toan continued to not show his strength in the ability to dribble speed and press high.
Draw 1-1, Seoul E-Land got the first score in K-League 2, thereby rising to 10th out of 13. Previously, the team lost to Cheongju FC 2-3 in the first round. Van Toan played for 80 minutes but did not leave much of an impression.
Seoul E-Land will face Jeonnam Dragons at home in the third round of K-League 2 taking place on March 11.
