Van Toan: 'Next game I will try to score or assist'

Nguyen Van Toan kicked when Seoul E-Land started at K-League 2 today, March 1. He did not score or assist, but was assessed by coach Park Choong-kyun to play well when actively moving, ready to retreat to support the defense. However, the Vietnamese striker did not enjoy the joy in his debut when Seoul E-Land was 0-3 lead and only got two.

"I was very nervous when I thought about my debut," Van Toan shared after the match. "Unfortunately, the team conceded three goals first. But we also got two. I want to thank my teammates, for not giving up, trying until the last minute."

Van Toan lost to his opponents in terms of bodybuilding, and had difficulty in hand-to-hand disputes. However, he is confident that he has his own strengths to make up for. The Vietnamese striker said: "When I can't compare in terms of strength, I have to work harder to promote my own strengths, namely speed."

Van Toan grew up at HAGL Arsenal JMG academy and only played for the mountain town team, before going abroad to play for Seoul E-land for the first time. He admits that adapting to the new environment is not easy. However, the Vietnamese player believes that he will soon solve his psychological problems, not to be nervous before the matches. Van Toan is also confident that he will improve his weaknesses so that the next matches can play comfortably for 90 minutes.

"After today's loss, I am even more hungry to score. Next game, I want to leave the highlight on goals or assists. This is pressure, but I believe I can do it," Van Toan said. more when asked about the next goal.
