VBA 2022 officially started on June 21, 2022: 7 teams, 5 cities and 1 championship trophy

According to the official announcement of the organizing committee, the 7th season of Vietnam Professional Basketball Championship (VBA 2022) will end from June 21st to September 9th.

The tournament has the presence of 7 clubs including Hanoi Buffaloes, Thang Long Warriors, Danang Dragons, Nha Trang Dolphins, Saigon Heat, Ho Chi Minh City Wings and Cantho Catfish.

More importantly, VBA 2022 will return to the traditional home and away games and open its doors to fans.

In the last two seasons, the tournament was forced to organize a concentrated competition due to the complicated influence of Covid-19 epidemic. In which, the 2020 season limits the number of fans, and the 2021 season does not have the presence of the audience and cannot take place as the original plan.

This time, the fans will be able to go directly to the stadium they love in the local field, except in particular case of Cantho Catfish. Yeah.

Eight-millimeter teams will be forced to select the courtyard at TP.Minh Lake (the New Year's Memorial Award for the New Year's Fighting Competition, this is rather regrettable news for the Catfish fans, the best in the New 8V Army.

With 7 the football team in accordance to Regular Season and then to the Playoffs, VBA 2022, there will be maximum at 53 games. This number includes 4ular Season and multi Playoffs at the final end.

The semis will be in the match in three seconds (best of 3). A series of VBA Finals will have maximum five strikes with the 3-fight team will take the best of 5.

From 21/06 to 17/08: Regular Season

From 20/08 to 26/08: The Playoffs's round 1- 4 team

At the moment, the teams are in the military process and training to prepare for the new season.

Most VBA 2022 teams will hold training camps for about 3-4 weeks before officially playing their opening game on June 21.
