HCMC On the afternoon of March 3, the home team won Singapore with a score of 11-10 at the team hole tournament hosted by the Vietnam Golf Tourism Association on Tan Son Nhat course.

The last Alliance Cup was a two-day bilateral competition at the professional level. The whole tournament has 21 matches, in which win 1 point, draw 0.5. On the first day of the match, both sides reached 4.5 points at the end of four foursome matches and five fourball matches. The last day of the duel over 12 matches, the home team won six matches, drew one to reach the 11-point winning milestone.

In fourball, each team consists of two members, each playing their own ball. The member's best score at each hole will be the team's score.

In a foursome, two players share a ball, taking turns hitting the ball until it hits the hole. If one player tees off on the odd-numbered hole, the other tees off on the even-numbered hole.

The pair with the better score wins the hole and gets a 1up advantage. The match ends when the number of holes won (up, standing first) is greater than the number of holes remaining.

Through the match list, the Alliance Cup 2023 is like a miniature professional match between the domestic professional VGA Tour and the Asian tournament system in the same area.

The home team gathered Tran Le Duy Nhat, Le Khanh Hung, Truong Chi Quan, Pham Minh Duc, Le Viet Cuong, Trinh Van Tho, Nguyen Huu Quyet, Doan Van Dinh, Nguyen Gia Hong, Dinh Song Hai, Nguyen Dinh Chau, Nguyen Tuan Kiet, Varuth Nguyen. Particularly Khanh Hung, 15 years old and still dressed as an amateur, has just held the Lexus Challenge cup to open the VGA Tour 2023, on February 24. Meanwhile, the Singapore side has many representatives on the Asian Tour and the second division of the Development Tour, including Mardan Mamat with five first-place trophies.

Summarizing the Alliance Cup in the opening period, Mamat won all, team-mates Marc Ong - Gregory Foo won the most in the tournament - 8 & 7 when playing fourball with Tuan Kiet - Varuth Nguyen. Chi Quan won the second biggest – 7&5 against Nigel Tan.
