Falling into Group D with Japan is the most difficult for Vietnam. In addition, India and Uzbekistan are also not easy opponents.

The U17 Asian Finals will take place from June 15 to July 2 in Thailand. The four semi-finalists will qualify for the 2023 U17 World Cup in Peru in October.
Vietnam won tickets to the final round of U17 Asia under the guidance of coach Nguyen Quoc Tuan, after winning all three matches against Taiwan, Nepal and Thailand in the qualifying round. Currently, Mr. Tuan has moved to Binh Duong Club, so coach Hoang Anh Tuan will be the captain of U17 Vietnam in the upcoming final round.
The team is expected to gather in April in Binh Thuan or Ba Ria - Vung Tau to prepare before going to Thailand.
