Vietnam meets Thailand in the 7-player soccer tournament

This is the first time Vietnam has hosted an international 7-a-side football tournament. Thailand, Malaysia and Indonesia have accepted the invitation to Hanoi to compete. Four teams compete in a round robin for ranking.

According to the expected match schedule, Vietnam will meet Malaysia on December 23, Indonesia on December 24 and Thailand on December 25, respectively.

The composition of the Vietnamese 7-man football team will be selected from VPL - the national 7-a-side football championship and VSC - the national 7-a-side football cup.

The final round of the national 7-a-side football cup will take place in Hanoi from December 16 to December 18. The tournament has the participation of eight teams that are first and second in qualifying for four regions of the North, Central, South and Central Highlands: FC Mobi, FC Tourism, VIB Saigon, FC Bay Nui, XSKT Dak Lak, Olympic Games Gym, Anh Quyen and Tu Lua Cua Tung. Teams will compete in a knockout to choose the champion.

This is the second year of the 7-a-side football Cup. The tournament is organized by Vietfootball with the companionship of sponsor Hyundai Thanh Cong.
