In the early match, Myanmar Lower Laos 3-1 to reach nine points and the goal difference +11. Therefore, Vietnam must win Timor Leste with at least four goals to get back the table, creating momentum for the confrontation with Myanmar itself in the last round.

Therefore, unlike the original intention of using the second team, coach Mai Dezhong introduced the best offensive factors from the very beginning, Ren Huang, Duyong and Haiyan. He only adjusted off-line personnel when Khong Thi Hang, Thu Thuong, Hai Linh, Lan Anh and Thu Thao were kicked out of the main force, while pillars such as Kim Thanh, Chuong Kieu, Thuy Trang or Bich Thuy were rested.

Heavy rain flooded Binan Stadium, forcing the match to take place 30 minutes later than the original schedule at 19:30 Manila time (18:30 Hanoi time). Although the conditions were not ideal, Vietnam still controlled the game, opening the scoring in the 10th minute thanks to Huynh Nhu's ball cushion.

Timor Leste is the weakest rated in the table. Before this match, they lost to Cambodia and Laos, and did not score any goals. Meeting the championship in Vietnam, Lee Min-young's team accepted to play defensive with the sole purpose of limiting the goal. They try to break the ball as far as the goal as possible. But that also only helps Timor Leste for another 20 minutes, before receiving the second goal. From Tuyet Dung's corner, Hai Yen headed defender Timor Lester. Thousands quickly feet, raising the score to 2-0. Just five minutes later, Tuyet Dung was foul in the penalty area, then successfully implemented the 11m

In the 42nd minute, Van Su's beautiful combination, Huynh Nhu shot from a small angle in the restricted area, pulled the score to 4-0.

In the first half, Vietnam completed 12 times and won seven corners, controlling 65%. Timor-Leste had almost one chance, coming from Thu Thao's conceded ball phase. However, their forwards did not take advantage of it in time as Thu Thao retreated and flew to stop it.

As the score was safe, head coach Maidezhong withdrew Haiyan and Ruan Shiwen to make way for Xiang and Qiu Xuan after halftime. After pressing the field without a goal for about 20 minutes, coach Mai Duc Chung reinforced Thuy Trang and Thanh Nha. In the 72nd minute, Thanh Nha dodged on the right, and then opened it for Van Su to set the ball, expanding the difference to 5-0. About 12 minutes later, it was Thuy Trang's turn to finish and make it 6-0 after goalkeeper Timorese let the ball fly from Huynh Nhu's shot.

Vietnam finished top of Group B and soon won tickets to continue with a nine-point +14 margin. In the last round on July 13th, coach Maide Middle School only needs to draw with Myanmar, keep his current position, and face the second team of Group A in the semi-final.
