Ba Ria - Vung Tau Bui Vi Hao aims to score one goal per game at the 32nd SEA Games to successfully defend the gold medal with U22 Vietnam.

Vi Hao was born in 2003 on the staff of Binh Duong Club. He is one of seven U20 players summoned to U22 Vietnam to prepare for the 32nd SEA Games, including goalkeeper Cao Van Binh, defender Ho Van Cuong, midfielder Dinh Xuan Tien, strikers Nguyen Thanh Nhan, and Van Truong. and Quoc Viet.

Vi Hao admitted that he was not under pressure to gather this time, because he was called to prepare for the 31st SEA Games last year. Not only that, this striker also wants to improve his scoring ability with U22 Vietnam in the coming Cambodia. "If I am included in the list of SEA Games, I aim to score one goal per game and win the top spot with the team," Vi Hao said before a practice session on the afternoon of April 18 in Vung Tau.

Of the 31 players coach Philippe Troussier summoned to Vung Tau to train in preparation for the SEA Games, Vi Hao belongs to a rare group that can play a lot in the V-League. An Giang hometown striker played 20 matches with 864 minutes and scored 2 goals in the 2022 season. This season, he played 7 matches with 498 minutes, scored a goal from a direct free kick to help Binh Duong draw SLNA 1-1 days 7/4.

In Binh Duong, Vi Hao himself benefited from playing next to two quality strikers, Rimario and Nguyen Tien Linh. In which, Tien Linh always encourages juniors to try to get a place to attend the 32nd SEA Games. "I'm a bit sorry that this year's tournament does not have an overage slot because big brothers like Tien Linh will give strength to the team." Wei Hao said.

Vi Hao was not on the list of U22 Vietnam to attend the 2023 Doha Cup in Qatar in March because Binh Duong did not release people. During the gathering in Vung Tau this time, he will have to compete fiercely to be in the list of 20 players attending the 32nd SEA Games, of which two slots have belonged to the goalkeepers.
