Vietnamese-born player Johnny Juzang had an accident and missed the important preparation stage of NBA

According to Utah Jazz's announcement, defender Johnny Juzang was unable to meet to prepare for NBA Summer League because of a car accident.

The accident occurred in the center of Salt Lake city, when Juzang's SUV collided with another means. According to Johnny Juzang's father, the situation of this player is still normal.

However, the Utah Jazz coaching committee still allowed the Vietnamese -backed defender to take a break to prevent complications after the accident. In the first match of the Summer League against Oklahoma City Thunder, Juzang was not registered.

It is likely that the same thing will take place in the next two matches against Philadelphia 76ers and Memphis Grizzlies on July 6, although BHL Utah Jazz confirmed that his player had no serious problems.

Not being able to train and play in the summer league will be a huge disadvantage, when Johnny Juzang will lose valuable time to integrate into the new environment. The car crash could put him behind the season.

The former UCLA player was not selected by any club during the recent NBA Draft but was later offered by the Utah Jazz to sign a two-way contract.

In the near future, Juzang will play for the Jazz in the G League. Then, if he does well, he will be called up to play a 10-day contract in the NBA, and then go on a bigger contract.
