Hanoi I entered the game excitedly and soon rose up in the 5th minute. Nguyen Thi Thanh Nha led the ball on the right wing, pushed a beat into the middle and then suddenly hit the left foot and sent the ball into the dead corner.
Right after that, TKSVN had the opportunity to equalize, but Duong Thi Van lacked a bit of strength to cushion the ball at close range. Failing to score, TKSVN continued to pay the price for the mistake of the defense. Captain Le Thi Diem My and Pham Thi Nham did not coordinate well for Pham Hai Yen to steal the ball, lead into the penalty area and then beat Khong Thi Hang for the second time after seven minutes had passed.
With nothing left to lose, TKSVN rushed to attack and got the result in the 28th minute. Ngan Thi Van Su dribbled the ball in the middle and passed it to Ha Thi Nhai on the left flank. Striker number 23 cut the sole of his right foot at a distance of more than 20 meters into the high corner, shortening the score for the home team.
Minutes later, TKSVN attacked aggressively, while Hanoi I played defensively and counter-attacked. In the stalemate, TKSVN suddenly found an equalizer in the 85th minute in a fixed situation. From the free-kick to the left about 25 meters away from the goal, Ha Thi Nhai shot straight, and at the same time his teammates jumped in, startling goalkeeper Kieu Oanh, letting the ball hit the person and go into the net. After that, Kieu Oanh showed signs of psychological influence, so coach Doan Viet Trieu substituted goalkeeper Nguyen Thi Loan, heading for the penalty shootout when the two teams drew the final 2-2.
On the 11m mark, all five TKSVN players shot accurately. Meanwhile, Vu Thi Hoa of Hanoi I was saved by Khong Thi Hang in the second round, thereby losing the final 4-5.
