Vietnam's home ticket at the AFF Cup is the highest at VND 600,000
Vietnam is in Group B of the AFF Cup 2022 with Malaysia, Singapore, Myanmar and Laos. Coach Park Hang-seo's teachers and students played two matches at My Dinh's home ground, against Malaysia on December 27, 2022 and Myanmar on January 3, 2023. Tickets for the two matches above will be sold online from December 10, with each ID card or citizen identification being able to buy up to four tickets for a match.
The other two matches the team plays away, in which the opening match against Laos is on December 21.
Vietnam won the AFF Cup 2018 but failed to defend the throne when losing to Thailand in the semi-finals of the next tournament. Coach Park has repeatedly stated that he will put all his efforts to reclaim the championship at this year's tournament. This is also his last award with the Vietnamese team, after announcing his decision not to renew his contract with VFF.
The team is currently training in Ba Ria-Vung Tau. The team will return to Hanoi to play a friendly match with the Philippines at Hang Day Stadium on December 14 before competing in the AFF Cup.
Currently, the team is only missing Nguyen Quang Hai. The 25-year-old midfielder was sent by Pau FC to return to the AFF Cup but did not attend friendly matches to avoid injury. He will join the army on December 15.
