VTV Cup 2023 semi-final live schedule today: Two Vietnamese teams rematch in the final?
The 2023 VTV Cup volleyball tournament has closed the group stage. After 5 rounds of round-robin matches, the ranking of 6 teams has been determined. Vietnam women's volleyball team 1 ranked first with a winning record of 15 points. Second place is the Vietnamese team 2, with 11 points after 4 wins and 1 loss. The 3, 4, 5, and 6 positions respectively are Choco Mucho, Kansai University, Suwon City and Australia.
After the Mongolian team withdrew at the last minute, the format of the 2023 VTV Cup was also changed. Teams compete in a qualifying round-robin to determine the semi-finalists, and place 5-6. Thus, in the semi-finals, Team Vietnam 1 will meet the 4th ranked team, Kansai University, while the Vietnam 2 team under the guidance of coach Nguyen Trong Linh will meet the 3rd ranked team Choco Mucho. Two teams Suwon and Australia will meet in the 5-6th place match.
Teams will have a day off (August 24) before entering the semi-finals. The 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th and final matches will take place on August 26.
