Khanh Hoa On the afternoon of April 16, 25-year-old Zimbabwean golfer Kieran Vincent was crowned at point -19 at the Asian Tour with a prize fund of two million USD on KN Golf Link Cam Ranh par72.

"This achievement is like a dream. In golf, sometimes I put in but sometimes I missed. Luckily today I put in at the right time," Vincent said when receiving the cup.

The final round of International Series Vietnam witnessed Vincent's memorable upstream. The whole match, he used 26 putts, hit 12 of the 14 fairways and went to the green according to the standard 13 holes.

When Vincent entered, the top of the table was at -17 and he was -13. But through 17 holes, Vincent went to -18, finished T1 thanks to five birdies and no bogey. Then he birdie again on the 18th hole to set a -19 victory from a 3.6 meter putt.

With that finish, he dropped one stroke from T2 including Anirban Lahiri, Indian and Australian player Kevin Yuan. Lahiri finished first, then Vincent. Yuan started later, missed the opportunity to drag Vincent into the extra hole when he couldn't score a birdie on the putt on the last hole, also about 3.6 meters away.

The International Series Vietnam marks the return of the Asian Tour to Vietnam after an eight-year absence, since the 2015 Ho Tram Open at The Bluffs in Ba Ria-Vung Tau. Both tournaments take place on courses designed by golf legend Greg Norman.

On the occasion of the recent event, the Asian Tour and the host of the KN Golf Links Cam Ranh, each party donated $25,000 to the Khanh Hoa Young Talent Development and Scholarship Fund. In terms of prize money, Vincent received $ 360,000 for the championship, and the T2 position was $ 173,000. The host country has 14 representatives to participate in the war, but they were all eliminated after the second round, when the cut-off point was at -3.

In terms of career top 3 overall, Lahiri is the most formidable, as shown by two cups on the European first-class golf arena DP World Tour and seven equal Asian Tour titles. Lahiri also attended 165 tournaments on the US PGA Tour but did not come first. He is being banned by the PGA Tour for switching to the rival system LIV Golf League invested by Saudi Arabia with a prize fund of up to $ 25 million each, of which the individual championship is $ 4 million.
