There are 16 teams participating in the Chilean First Division. Each team will play a total of 34 double rounds. The winner gets 3 points, the loser gets no points, and each team gets 1 point for a tie. In the case of a tie, the order is determined by the number of games won, goal difference, and number of goals scored. The top 4 teams will qualify for the Copa Libertadores next season, the 5th to 8th teams will participate in the South American Club Cup, and the third-to-last team will participate in the relegation play-off. The penultimate and second teams will be relegated to the second division.
